RECON MK4: DESIGN EVOLUTION

  • In-House CAD Design: A clean-sheet design, fully engineered from the keel up.
  • New One-Piece Aluminum Transom: A major structural upgrade for superior durability and high-load handling.
  • Reinforced Hull Armor: Added heavy-duty rubber bottom protection to better manage abrasion, beaching, and rough launches.
  • Redesigned Faceted Seat Panels (Patent Pending): Enlarged, dual-layer PVC construction for superior stiffness and extended wear protection.
  • Optimized Deck Layout: 6 HD nylon grab handles and updated D-ring placement based on real-world boarding and tie-down feedback.
  • Upgraded EVA Flooring: A refined design pattern for improved traction and aesthetics.
  • Improved Ergonomics: Enlarged drain plug access for easier operation.
  • Welded Tow Points: Integrated attachment points on the transom for secure towing.
  • Reinforced Tube Junctions: Strengthened specifically for better load transfer and long-term durability.

recon series

The Recon is our flagship platform, built around a rigid removable aluminum floor system topped with EVA foam for improved traction and comfort underfoot. Reinforced tube and keel armor provide added resistance to abrasion, beaching, and repeated launches, making the Recon well suited to varied conditions and frequent use. Like every Raven, it features a six-chamber safety design, 1.2 mm HD PVC construction, and an aluminum transom — with additional structure focused where durability and stability matter most.

RAVEN SCOUT SERIES

The Raven Scout platform uses a very high-pressure air floor inflated to 12 PSI, paired with a separate inflatable keel beneath the floor, to deliver a stable and responsive on-water feel while keeping setup time to a minimum. By eliminating rigid aluminum floor panels, overall weight is significantly reduced, making the Scout easier to transport, handle, and deploy. This construction makes the Scout well suited to owners who value simplicity and flexibility.

Like the Recon, it shares the same six-chamber safety system, 1.2 mm HD PVC construction, and aluminum transom — delivering core Raven durability in a lighter, more nimble package.

Designed alongside a growing community of Raven owners

Every Raven is backed by a growing owners group where real-world experiences, setup tips, modifications, and feedback are shared openly. It’s a place for owners to learn from each other, ask questions, and help shape future refinements.

We’re actively involved — listening, responding, and continuously improving the boats based on how they’re actually used.

Redundancy by design

Five independent tube chambers plus a separate inflatable keel provide true redundancy.

If one chamber is compromised, the boat remains afloat and controllable.

This six-chamber safety architecture is standard across all Raven models.

Which Raven Is Right for You?

Recon and Scout share the same safety and material standards. The difference comes down to how you plan to use the boat.
